Every year before Eastern Connecticut Rugby’s first game we go down to the local soup kitchen and volunteer three hours of our time. It is one of the many traditions of the rugby team has but it one of the most enjoyable. We help prepare food, serve food, and various forms of physical labor. We had a large turnout again this year and kept the tradition going so make sure to go to the photo gallery to check out the pictures!

Eastern Connecticut Rugby began in 2005 and was then only a small group of students with the majority having never played before. Today the Warrior Rugby program is a club rich with brotherhood and tradition. We have now become a successful NERFU Division III rugby club made up not only of talented athletes but successful students at Eastern as well.
After playing for three years and serving on the E-Board for two years it is an honor to be chosen as President by the club. We have big visions for the future and plan on continuing the uprise of the program. I would like to thank the club members, coaches, alumni, parents, and fans for making it possible for our program to be so successful.
BLUE &WHITE TO THE TOP!
Cheers,
Chris D. Jones – Club President
